Prognose der CML

Unter Interferon-alpha-Therapie, sowie nach Knochenmarkstransplantation leben nach fünf Jahren noch etwa 60 Prozent der Patienten mit CML. Nach alleiniger Chemotherapie leben nach fünf Jahren noch etwa 30 Prozent der Patienten. Heilungen sind bisher nur nach Knochenmarkstransplantation beobachtet worden.
